The Silos Restaurant

Me and my wife bought a property in Oriental NC. When we saw the Silo's restaurant we had to give it a try. First of all the restaurant is inside of 2 connected silos. The atmosphere there is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was first class. Today was the second time we were there and we ordered Italian dishes again. Being from a old school Italian family and living in a predominantly Italian neighborhood in NY, I have to say that it was as close to NY / home made Italian food you can get. We loved, loved, loved it! We will definitely go back again!

What a Gem!!! This place really surprised me. From the nostalgia of album covers to the service to the food. Something to know about the place. They have two floors and two menus. One for lunch and one for dinner. Spaghetti is not on the lunch menu but lasagna is. The service is phenomenal. Jessica made sure we got excellent service even though we were downstairs in the closed off for lunch section (she made the accommodation due to one of my party not being able to get up the stairs. The food was good as well. They also have live music. Way to go Silos!!! Way to go Jessica!!!

One of a kind. Came for lunch and now I want to come back for open mic night, pizza Tuesday, and Friday night live music. Oh, and the food. The cheesesteak philly was perfect! My buddy had manicotti and it was delish. A perfect low key place as unique as Oriental itself.

The silos is a super cute locally owned place in oriental. The inside was closed because of covid but I was able to go on and order. I found some tables out back so I just made myself at home. We are from the lunch menu. The prices were average for lunch. My son is pretty picky about his chicken tenders but he liked the ones he had for lunch. The employees were very nice! I will return and I can’t wait to sit inside!

Our family loved this place! We stopped buys for dinner and was amazed by the design of this restaurant! Awesome! All the food was delicious, but the casserole was outstanding! Highly recommended!

The food is so delicious!!! I am from Michigan, and we have to stop here every time we come to visit. I highly recommend eating at this locally owned restaurant.

I had Shrimp Linguine w/ Lobster Cream Sauce and a Carolina Blonde on tap. Great meal, and worth every nickel. Come and get some!

Visiting the area, we thought we'd stop in for a late lunch. Not only is the place unique on the outside, but it was also unique on the inside. Very music oriented with lots of guitars and other instruments as part of the decor. After we got seated, the owner stopped by our table and asked us If we'd try something he just whipped up in the kitchen. Cod fish bites. They were fantastic! Seasoned perfectly with the right amount of batter. Obviously fresh cod, too. And nice and crispy. If he adds these to the menu, definitely get them. The wedge salad was delicious and the perfect size. We got two different pizzas. I preferred the hand tossed crust to the thin. Both could have been cooked a bit longer so the pizza would have been crispier. Jessica was a super waitress, too. All the staff was very friendly. Would love to come back sometime when they have entertainment. If you're in the area, the Silos is a must go-to.
